The rainwater must be measured every day at 8:30 hrs in the rain gauge. If there is no rain, the IST and the rainguage should be analysed every day for information about the nature. The measurement observations must be made three to four times on a heavy rainfall day. In a day, the total measurements in 24 hours from this information. They know whether it is heavy rainfall or normal rainfall. The observation should be made quickly if it is on a rainy day to avoid natural damage. When the rainfall is heavy, place the glass bottle and receiver for the collection of the heavy rainfall. After taking the receiver or glass bottle and pour the collected water into the original receiver for the measurement observations.

IMS Procedures
