What Is Natural Vegetation

Introduction

What Is Natural Vegetation – Many people do not know about the vegetation that can be grown in a natural way in the environment. Therefore, there are many plants, trees, fruits, and other plants that can be grown in the natural vegetation. In a village, most of the people work on the natural vegetation and they gain money from the work. The trees can be green in the forests can also live on the basis of the wild forest vegetation. But the plants that can be grown in the village and our surroundings can be related to the plant vegetation in the environment.

Natural Vegetation

The natural vegetation is nothing but the plants that can be grown under the care taken by the individuals in a natural way. In the living world, people should be dependent on many items in nature. Without the environment, human beings cannot survive on Earth; mostly, they survive with the help of plants. Because they give oxygen, which can be helpful in surviving on Earth. The individual species can also be adjusted to the climate and the conditions with the help of the vegetation that can be part the nature.

India In Vegetation

India is one of the most important countries that can encourage vegetation in the world. Most of the people own great land, and they are also interested in developing the vegetation process. Eventually, India contains a wide range of land that can be helpful for the natural vegetation. India also contains regions like the Himalayas, islands, and plateaus that can use the vegetation in a natural way.

Because the Himalayan part of the region contains temperate vegetation. The islands, like the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, are filled with tropical rainforests. Ultimately, the mangrove forests consist of the deltaic regions in India. The thorny vegetation can be grown in the desert areas like Rajasthan etc. The soil and the climate are different in different areas in India compared with the regions.

Vegetation Features

In the natural vegetation, there are many features that can be related to the vegetation. The vegetation types can be divided on the basis of the climatic regions and the predominant vegetation types. Basically, the forests play an important role in the vegetation process in India. So the Indian Forests can be divided into these types due to the reasons in the vegetation process.

  • Tropical Evergreen Forests
  • Semi-Evergreen Forests
  • Tropical Thorn Forests
  •  Tropical Deciduous Forests
  • Montane Forests
  • Littoral, Swamp Forests

Tropical Evergreen Forests

This is one of the types in the indian forests according to the natural vegetation process. The Western Ghats are filled with tropical and semi-green forests on the western slope of the Ghats. Eventually, the Andaman Nicobar Islands and the hills of the north eastern side, these forests can also be seen in the vegetation. The forests are placed due to warm and humid conditions that are suitable for growing in a natural way. These Tropical evergreen forests are covered with shrubs, and these are very close to the ground level. Some of the trees look short in structure, but it was followed by the taller trees in the generations of vegetation. The trees are formed with a bigger structure, with no definite shape and the structure.

Semi-Evergreen Forests

The semi-evergreen forests are mostly occupied in the rainy areas, that is, in less favorable conditions. Ultimately, the forests consist of moist areas and are filled with water and filled with deciduous trees. These forests are filled with the evergreen nature that is placed in the environment. The economic value is also at a high level, which is fully based on the natural vegetation. Many vegetations like tea plantation, rubber plantation, etc, are one of the new ideologies that are introduced into the vegetation. These forests are mostly used in commercial development economically. The forests were helpful in the reduction of heat in the summer season.

Tropical Thorn Forests

  • The Topical rainfall is found in areas of the environment is in less favorable conditions in the environment.
  • These forests are also fully filled with trees, bushes, and shrubs, and are also full of grass in the vegetation. To maintain a stable environment, forests are helpful in increasing the economy.
  • These forests are mostly found in the northern regions of states like Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra all other nearby states.
  • Most of the plants in this type are filled with low leaves and grow in the vegetation of the scrub. These are responsible for maintaining healthy biodiversity in the natural vegetation.
  • These tropical thorn forests are helpful to many needs, like getting the fodder and the timber, mostly from these areas.

Tropical Deciduous Forests

In India, most of the forests are surrounded with the part that are occupied by human livelihood. These types of forests are also called monsoon forests in the vegetation types. These tropical deciduous forests are also grown in the presence of water. The forests are of two types like dry deciduous and moist nature based on the research results.

Dry Deciduous Forests: In the country, most of the area is covered with dry deciduous forests in many regions.  Basically, the rainfall in these dry deciduous forests is at in decreasing level, so it is considered in a dry condition. The moisture present in these forests and the grass is at a high level.
Moist Deciduous Forests: In these forests, there is a large amount of moisture that can be present in the atmosphere. The rainfall is also at a high level compared to the Dry deciduous forests. Regarding the information, moist forests are mainly located in the northern states of India.

Montane Forests

In the natural vegetation process, the montane forests are filled with the temperature at low temperatures. The grass is common in all types of forests, but these leaves are also shed in these types. Due to the low level of rainfall, the vegetation depends on overgrazing. Based on the information,  it can also be classified into two types, the northern and the southern montane forests.

Northern Montane Forests: In these forests, the broad level of trees is found in the northern part of the forests. The oak trees are mainly found in these areas in the vegetation. The vegetation in these areas is at a thick level of condition that totally covers the mountain part.
Southern Montane Forests: These types of forests are mainly found in the peninsular part of the southern regions. In higher-level regions, the temperate level is found in the vegetation level. The Nilgiris and the Palani Hills are classified as temperate forests in vegetation.

Littoral And Swamp Forests

  •  In the survival of mankind, Habitats were proposed to sustain life, which helps in the conservation of vegetation.
  • The cultivation is also at a high level when compared to other occupations, because the production is also at a high level that comes from the forests.
  • These littoral and swamp forests contain the moisture nd the wetlands that occupy major areas.
  • In these forests, the trees are also filled with bushes and shrubs that are part of the other forests, similar to other forests.
  •  The swamps are also found in the hilly areas on the north side, which is helpful in the development of the region.
  • The mudflats and the estuaries are also part of the biological diversity that helps in economic development.
  • These forests also give shelter and food to the birds and the animals, and all other species.

Mangrove Forests

The mangrove forests occupy a large number of areas that surround India, which helps in the conservation. Ultimately, the mangrove forests are developed in the Islands like the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and also in the Sundarban Islands. Basically, the mangrove forests spread over the rivers like the Godavari, Mahanadi, and the Krishna.  Eventually, the forests give a large amount of production and heritage to get the income of the country’s economy. These forests help in eradicating drought and flood conditions in the rainy season. Subsequently, the forests help in the production of wood like timber, fodder, and fuel in many areas. The villages in rural areas are mostly dependent on the forests for their income, like selling the wood, timber, fuel, etc.

Conservation of Forests

  • In the development of Natural vegetation the conservation also plays a major role in the environment.
  • The conservation of forests helps in the development of the country economically and socially. The pollution also causes severe effects on the environment.
  • It totally helps in the survival and living conditions that can be helpful to humankind in their livelihood.
  • The conservation helps in increasing and expanding the forests and the vegetation that supports the people’s livelihood.
  • To increase the plants, people should come forward with activities like planting trees instead of cutting them down.
  • The management also plays a key role in achieving a sustainable environment in the conservation of forests.

Importance Of Forests

Many tribal people depend on the forests, which are helpful in their economic and social livelihood. The forests are helpful in providing food, shelter, fruits, and the roots that can be useful in the survival of the Earth. Ultimately, the roots and the leaves are helpful in making natural medicines like Ayurveda, which can cure many diseases. The wood and the timber are useful in making the equipment that is related to the home and all working places.

There are many communities that are rarely elated and are guarding the forests to bring peaceful harmony among themselves. The people living in the surroundings of forests are the guardians of the vegetation and the wildlife too. The conservation also takes place in the tribal areas by showing good respect and faith towards the forests. To get a stable and sustainable environment, forests are helpful in the development of social and rural areas through the natural vegetation.

Forestry

Forestry is nothing but the development and protection that can serve as a barrier to other problems. This process totally helps the forests and maintains the environment with safety and a healthy livelihood. The NCA is also divided into three divisions that help in the development of forestry like, Urban, Rural, and Farm forestry.

  • Urban Forestry: In this part, the plants can be grown in urban areas to promote the development of trees. Mostly planted in areas like parks, roadsides the public places the and urban centers, green belts, etc.
  • Rural Forestry: The rural areas are totally based on the forests for their livelihood on Earth. These trees help in supporting the people in the rural areas, like selling the wood, timber, fuel, fodder, etc. In this type, they plant in places like roadsides, temple surroundings, public places like schools, offices, and railways.
  • Farm Forestry: To develop forestry, many people modtly ion rural and tribal areas totally depend on the farm forestry. They start programmes like selling the seeds and encourage them to plant the trees for the future. Most of the agricultural lands and the green grass lands belong to the farm forestry.

Protection of Vegetation

There are many safety measures that can be helpful and related to the conservation of the natural vegetation. The estimation of vegetation is increasing day by day to get better results in daily life. Ultimately, the interest is also increasing among people in the development of natural vegetation for the survival of the Earth. By planting trees instead of cutting them trees, there is a lot of chance in protecting the vegetation. As well as the oxygen level increases during the plantation of the plants in the environment. For getting the resources like fuel, fodder, wood, timber, protection is important to maintain a healthy livelihood. So, all the people should be responsible for the protection and growing the new plants for future generations.

Conclusion

The people should be aware of the natural vegetation and many of them should not considerate about the natural vegetation. To get better resources, the vegetation, like forestry, farming, helps in the development of resources. The people who are living in the tribal areas mostly depend on the natural vegetation for their livelihood. Raising the plants and the trees helps in increasing the oxygen level and decreasing the diseases that affect people. Due to the pollution and other reasons, people are damaging the environment for their basic needs. Instead of polluting, try to be responsible and plant more trees for future generations.
